Preview for Teachers' Tools
This activity focuses on using Google Applications as well as Google Classroom to produce collaborative work with teachers and students related to specific subject area or professional goals. We also discuss and consider ways to use Google Applications to advance school improvement. You will become familiarize with some of the Google tools such as Google Docs, Slides, Drawings, Calendar, Sheets, and Drive. Using these tools you and your students can develop, write, organize and collaborate. Using these tools you can also create teaching resources that demonstrates your competency in one or more of the National Educational Technology Standards for teachers.
Write down as many things that come to mind when you hear Google Applications, just jot down the first couple of things that come to mind. This will give you an idea of your starting point, or baseline knowledge, before beginning this professional development series. It may be interesting to return to these thoughts after you have completed the course to see if your perceptions have been modified or confirmed.
